Tacoma, Washington · in-person and Zoom
Forty-four years inside the custody system.
Suzanne Dircks is not a generalist counselor who sees divorcing families as one slice of a broader practice. She has spent four decades specifically inside the family court system: as a therapist working with high-conflict families, as a Guardian ad Litem on more than 1,000 investigations, and as a Certified Family Mediator. She has been in the room when custody decisions are made. She has been the person the court sends to evaluate whether a parent is acting in their child’s best interest.
That experience does not simply inform her clinical work. It shapes every session. When you meet with Suzanne, you are not receiving general relationship advice. You are working with someone who understands the legal system your family is navigating from the inside.
Two ways to start: a call or a message.
Schedule a complimentary 5-minute intake. No charge. No commitment. Just a conversation to discuss your situation and confirm that counseling with Suzanne is the right fit.
From there: a 60-minute first session to understand your goals, followed by ongoing sessions at the pace your situation requires. Zoom and in-person both available.
