Common questions about fees and insurance
- Do you accept insurance?
- Suzanne is an out-of-network provider. After each session, she provides a superbill you can submit directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Many clients with PPO plans receive partial reimbursement — contact your insurer before your first session to confirm your out-of-network mental health benefits.
- What is a superbill?
- A superbill is an itemized receipt containing the diagnostic and service codes your insurance company requires to process an out-of-network claim. Suzanne provides one on request after each session.
- How do I submit for reimbursement?
- Call the member services number on your insurance card and ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits and the reimbursement process. Then submit the superbill directly to your insurer. Reimbursement rates vary by plan.
- Do you offer a sliding scale?
- In limited circumstances, and on a case-by-case basis. Please raise this during your intake call.
- What forms of payment do you accept?
- Check, credit card, and HSA/FSA cards.
- What is your cancellation policy?
- 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule without charge. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged the full session fee.
